Blueys Happy Snaps features hidden photo targets in each level that do not always appear on standard sticker checklists. Community members on TrueAchievements and gameplay walkthroughs have documented four secret photos per area, filling out the special slots in Bluey and Bingo's scrapbook.

This guide compiles every verified secret photo location and interaction across all seven primary stages in the Gameloft release.

Quick Reference: Secret Photos by Level

Each level contains four secret photo objectives. Several require you to inspect specific scenery or arrange items before snapping the picture.

Heeler House Secret Photos

The Heeler family home features four hidden targets spread between the interior rooms and the front yard:

  • Gecky: Found mounted on the wall directly opposite the front entry door.
  • Malcolm: Visible outside Bingo's room window by interacting with the double doors in the girls' bedroom.
  • Cricket Bat: Positioned on the right side of the front yard, tucked behind a neighbor's garbage bin.
  • Willy Wagtail: Perched on the left side of the front yard, sitting atop a wooden mailbox or sign marked with a paw print.

The Park Secret Photos

The outdoor park stage hides several environmental sightings alongside a recurring Long Dog collectible:

  • Long Dog: Located inside the public restroom building situated up the hill on the left side of the map.
  • Big Dragon: The large decorative stone dragon; ensure your camera frame includes the dragon's head to trigger the album credit.
  • Ferry: The passenger ferry cruising along the open water in the background.
  • Green Fairy Door: Positioned on the far right end of the stage near the cafe and gray dog characters, set against one of the planters overlooking the water.

Playspace Secret Photos

The indoor Playspace requires exploring both the vertical structures and arranging a specific prop:

  • Long Dog: Sitting at the top entry chute of the main slide where Bluey's standard slide photo opportunity is located.
  • Ball Pit Shark: The yellow dog visible playing inside the ball pit area.
  • Solar System: The full set of planet decorations hanging suspended from the ceiling.
  • Sock Monkey Turret: Travel to the second floor on the far right side of the play frame to pick up the sock monkey toy. Carry the monkey over to one of the nearby turret guns, drop it into place, and take a photo of the setup.

The Lookout Secret Photos

The Lookout focuses on scenic viewing points and requires using level equipment:

  • Long Dog: Pinned to the message board and trail map situated at the very top of the lookout summit.
  • Fairy Door: Hidden around the bend on the first tier of the path, located behind the walkway ramp near the koala.
  • Special Car: The distinct blue vehicle parked adjacent to the family vehicle at the trailhead.
  • Greeny the Balloon: Floating high in the distant sky. You must step up to the viewing telescopes (reported as the middle telescope) to zoom in and snap the balloon.

South Bank (Beach) Secret Photos

The South Bank waterfront stage features hidden items tucked beneath walkways and along the promenade:

  • Long Dog: Hidden inside the metal bridge drainage grate directly behind the spinning waterwheels.
  • Fairy Door: Located along the right boardwalk area, nestled low between the planter wall and the public benches.
  • Hanging Sculpture: Found in the rear section of the map, suspended by a wire behind the large golden dog monument.
  • Swooping Seagull: Capture the scene where Winton's dad is being crowded by aggressive seagulls along the promenade.

Hammerbarn Secret Photos

Hammerbarn contains a mix of aisle searching and item manipulation in the outdoor garden department:

  • Long Dog: Resting under the bottom of the yellow playground slide, positioned behind the teeter-totter.
  • Broken Jeremy: The gnome statue wearing a blue hat, tucked away in the back right corner of the garden center between the stacked sod rolls and turf patches.
  • Special Car: Located in the exterior lot outside the garden center (near a dog character having a snack); snap the white car featuring a clinic/doctor decal.
  • Gnome Wedding: Locate the gnome wearing the bridal dress in the nearest aisle on the right. Pick up the bride gnome, carry her over to the other gnome figure, and take a photo of them together.

Camping Secret Photos

The Camping stage hides targets across rock ledges and natural foliage:

  • Rock Painting: Painted on the backside of the boulder situated near the mud patch. Walking past this area triggers a companion dialogue cue pointing toward the hidden side.
  • Green Tree Snake: Wrapped around a branch in the tree behind Socks after the hide-and-seek sequence begins.
  • Quoll: Perched on an elevated rocky ledge located behind the camper vehicle.
  • Long Dog: Positioned on a rocky outcropping to the far left of the screen, right beside the waterfall ledge.

Scrapbook Mechanics and Hidden Snaps

In Bluey's Happy Snaps, secret photos act as non-guided album entries. While main objectives provide clear photo prompts and stickers on your screen, secret objectives award entries based on unguided exploration.

A second player joining in local cooperative play can assist by moving props, such as holding toys or positioning the Hammerbarn bride gnome, while player one operates the camera. Snapping these hidden subjects fills the remaining blank album leaves, rewarding you with custom sticker elements, decorative tape, and coloring pages for your completed scrapbook.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every level have a hidden Long Dog photo?

Player records confirm that The Park, Playspace, The Lookout, South Bank, Hammerbarn, and Camping each contain a hidden Long Dog photo objective. The Heeler House level instead features four individual household and yard landmarks (Gecky, Malcolm, the cricket bat, and the Willy Wagtail).

Why did the Big Dragon photo in The Park not count?

Community reports note that the stone dragon photo requires framing the head of the statue. If your shot only captures the base or body, the game will not register the secret photo album unlock.

How do you photograph the balloon at The Lookout?

Greeny the balloon drifts too high for standard freeform camera shots. Interact with the fixed optical binoculars or telescopes located at the lookout platform to zoom into the open sky and take the snapshot.
